About Me

Here's to Horror

Welcome to my world of horror. I will soon publish my second novel, The House. My second book will be my debut novel in the horror genre. I am a long time fan of horror from way back when I used to write a short story per week of the most unimaginable terrors only to be given time to read them to my sixth grade class. My teachers in the creepiest of states, Maine, were always supportive of my efforts, I guess that is what happens when your home state has Stephen King as a role model. They prefer to encourage the macabre, rather than bury it like the dead!

I left Windham, Maine for Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass. where I indulged in classes at all the area colleges including Amherst, where I focused on Film and TV production with a minor in literature. For my senior thesis I shot a video adaptation of a story from Twilight Zone Magazine, Preserves, by author John Cohen.  Horror flick director, Rolfe Kanefsky, served as my DP on the project.

That video became my calling card for Los Angeles where I have worked in TV and film since. I have recently returned to my literary roots by publishing my debut novel, Nolan Walker And The Superiors Squad, my love letter to the comic book industry. I am a CB geek as well as a horror geek. My debut horror novel, The House, is the first of many, and I am excited to dive deep into the horror world I have so long appreciated.
